I started out in fourth grade playing viola also. Too bad you young kids did not learn from the experience of us much older ones.

About You:
I started out in the 4th grade on viola and went on to frustrate my teachers for another 13 years. Finally, I bribed my hot MILF professors with the promise of just rewards for granting me a degree in music performance back in '88. Following my senior recital I promptly quit playing the viola.

Along the way, a roommate had cajoled me into taking up the electric guitar so we could start a band. The two of us formed a group of like-minded university students called S.U.C.M.E. (the Sonoran University Chamber Music Ensemble) and we proceeded to write some truly awful songs and maybe a couple decent ones while offending just about everyone. Songs like Phallic Warrior, We're Gonna Kick Yer Ass, Death Rock Shit and Crotch Rocket got some local airplay and we actually had about four fans.

15 years passed by...

Recently, I've taken up the viola again and also started playing some violin. A friend of mine from high school also convinced me it would be a good idea to play in a punk band made up of over-40 types. So I dusted off the old '67 Epiphone Olympic Single and the Fender Princeton and set about to re-learn the punk guitar stylings I had so loved while in college.

Tubes still rock, BTW.
